 | Camping at Jones Beach Has anyone done this before?  DH and I were invited to do this with some of our friends.  But they said no alcohol or fires on the beach?  Is it fun?  can you atleast BBQ?  TIA |

 no I mean are there bbq sites, like a picnic area rather then a wood burning fire on the sand

 I have never heard of it either, but our Long Island friend said that it is done.  Sounds iffy

 thanks, I never heard of it either, I guess I will ask for more proof that it exists before DH takes a Saturday off work.

 I don't know about this either.  I think they close all the parking fields at dark.  I would check it out ahead of time....
