My integrated blood/ultrascreen results are in
The genetic counselor called me this a.m. with what she said was good news!!! (phew) I was so nervous about this because I'm 35 - will be 36 when the baby is born but we were not going for the amnio anyway. I know these are not always 100% but i still feel better. What do you think?
She said based on my age etc. here are my results.
Pre-testing based on age only my odds would have been
DownS 1 in 230. my results 1 in 10,000
Trisomy 1 in 890. my results 1 in 1800
Spina Bifida = 1 in 3600

Those numbers look very comforting to me. I wouldn't do an amnio unless they find something at the Level II.
