7 months old- food help

Just curious what you are feeding your 7 month olds besides formula or BM, fruits, cereal and veggies....

Anyone feeding anything else? Any finger foods, meat, yogurt???

Are you doing solids more than 2x a day?

I don't see my ped again until our 9 month visit, so I want to stay on track.

Re: 7 months old- food help

Only other thing i gave my dd so far was fresh fruit in those netting things that they can chew on. I gave her watermelon in it, and she loves it.

Re: 7 months old- food help

DD is almost 7 months and i've been giving her little tates of grow-up foods.

I'm sure some people will think i'm crazy but usually the amout i give her is enough to fit on the tip of my finger.

I am too lazy to make my own food so I buy Gerber, Earths Best whatever is on sale! Is Bella eating solids 2x a day? My son is still only on solids 2x a day and my doc said it was fine. She said I can introduce a snack in the afternoon. Just trying to figure out when I should give it to him.

Yeah, still doing solids on 2x a day. Which my ped said was fine, but I don't see her again until June. So I am not sure if I should add a 3rd time a day soon. Bella is HATING the bottle now. It is torture to get her to drink 20 oz. a day! The only bottle she likes is the one before bed. She would eat solids all day if I would let her. Can I ask how much he is eating....and how much does he weigh?

She weighs about 17 pounds and she eats 6T of cereal a day, and 3 cubes of fruit and 3 cubes of veggies (not sure if it equals a stage 2 or not)...and around 20 oz.

Same thing here he really doesn't like to drink his bottle when he is eating food. Breakfast I started giving him the cereal mixed with fruit in the jar and make 4 ozs and he drinks about 2. Dinner he eats 2-3T of barley, stage 2 veggie and sometimes some fruit if he still wants. I make 5 ozs and use 1 for the cereal and he will drink most of it.

Re: 7 months old- food help

DS is only on BM, cereal and vegetables at this point. He didn't start cereal until 6 months. Doctor said to be on them for a month before starting vegetables. Now we are on cereal and veggies 2 times a day. Once he has been on veggies for a month he will move to fruit and start with 3 meals a day.

My doctor said two solid meals was all she needed right now. So she gets:

bottle
solids (cereal & Fruit)
bottle
Solids (cereal & veggie)
bottle

Bed...

I may start adding another fruit or veggie midday and see what happens though.
