@ 7 months and can't....stop...sleeping!!

I thought this was over after my first trimester, lately I am soo tired!! I had off on Friday and slept all day yesterday and today.

I have been sleeping horribly too and just feel all around discomfort. I wake up aching everywhere when normally I would wake up so refreshed. Also, I feel like someone is prying my hip's apart with a crow bar Chat Icon Does everyone's hips spread? mine were definitely wide enough to begin with!! WTH?!

Isn't it too early for me to be so miserable? Or is this normal?

I am hoping it is just a phase and I will get another good spurt of energy before the end.

Ok, pity party overChat Icon

I am 5 months preggo and I just had a doctor's appt where I complained of the same thing...I am exhausted and still am nauseous! I thought the second trimester was supposed to be better!

She pretty much said everybody's pregnancy is different and just rest whenever I get a chance!

I hope you feel better! I also had a snow day yesterday and spent most of the day napping!

if your pregnancy is anything like mine, I hate to tell you, it doesn't get better. I am also exhausted constantly because the sleep I get is poor quality and my legs feel like they are being ripped apart.

On the hip subject-your body is producing relaxin to get your hips to loosen so you can push the baby through. My doc said that it can cause that pain in your hips.

Hmm, ok thanks, good to know! So maybe this is a stupid question, but will my hips definitely spread? Will this be permanent, or does this also depend on the person?

I always felt like I have good hips for a baby, or at least wide enough Chat Icon I am ok with all of the other lovely changes to my body but can't my hips just stay the same!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

i've got 3 months to go and i've so tired too! i just figured it was b/c i was chasing a toddler and working full time! my hips hurt last time and this time I have terrible sciatica on one side. i'm sorry to say my hips never went back to the place they were originally...maybe partially. before DD1 I was between a 2-4 in bottoms and after I was basically only a 4 just to fit my hips and the waist was usually too loose, depending on the cut. it's all totally worth it though.
