7/8 month old nap question

Hi

How long is your LO awake before his/her first nap?

How long is you LO awake after his/her last nap before bedtime?

We are having difficulties with Maddie's naps, especially the last one. There is just an awkward amount of time after her last nap, but if she naps after 4:30, she won't go to bed on time (and won't sleep late if she goes to bed late, so that is just less nighttime sleep)

She is 7-1/2 months old.

Tia!

Around 8 months I "took" the 3rd nap and went for an earlier bedtime of 645. She slept longer and for us it made sense.

She would usually wake around 6 and her first nap was at 9, for about an hour, second one was 3-4 hours after, usually around 1.

Thanks. I might need to do that soon, although I am afraid to mess with her bedtime because I don't want her to start waking for the day at 4am again! Chat Icon

At 8 months that 3rd nap was dropped. He wakes anywhere between 1, 2 or 3PM from his second nap and goes to bed anywhere between 6-7PM. He's up between 6-6:30AM every morning.

I know the feeling! DD is a notorious early bird. I would try it on a weekend, this way if they get up you can nap when they do. One time dd didn't nap at all and I put here down at 6, and she slept 12.5 hours!
