6w sono
what should i expect to see? I will be 6w 1 day. Will I see a heart beat? should I be worried if we don't?

You should be able to see a heartbeat but if you don't, it's not a cause to panic.. it could just take a few more days.

u should see one, may not hear it yet. I did at 6 weeks 1 day, but thats not always the case. Dont panic either way! Goodluck!!

Be patient. I went for a sono at 6w2d and they didn't see a heartbeat.
By 7 weeks there were 2 healthy heartbeats

With DS I had the same experience, except I only had one healthy heartbeat, not two in there haha So don't panic!

at 6w1d we saw two sacs - one with a heartbeat, one without. the one without didn't continue to develop and i am preg with one healthy  .
but like the PPs said, if you just see a sac and no heartbeat its not necessarily cause for concern, the dates just may be off a little.

i didnt have my first sono until 7 weeks 4 days. so im not sure what to expect. you might see a flicker of a heartbeat.

I had a sono at 6 wks exactly, and we did see the sac, fetal pole, and heard the heart beat.

Had my first sono at 5w5d and saw the sac/yolk sac/fetal pole. At 6w5d we saw and heard the heart beat. So it could probably go either way for you - you might get a nice surprise and see it, or it might not be there even though everything is just fine. Good luck, keep calm, and enjoy!

i had a sono right at 6w. we had a HB, but I had to hold my breath to see it on the monitor!!
good luck! and if you don't see one yet, don't freak... it could take just a few more days.

Saw and heard two healthy heartbeats at 5W5D, but the doctor did say they probably started beating that morning  so I wouldn't worry if you don't see/hear it yet.
