Where do they sell christening dresses?
I'm starting to plan my DD's christening and I can't think of what stores sell christening dresses? Any recommendations would be appreciates, even online stores as well! Thanks

We went to Cathy's Touch in Merrick. Denny's sells some also, but I found that Cathy's Touch has the same designer with a bigger selection.

We looked at Little Dickens in Lake Grove (big selection), Pashley's in Cold Spring Harbor, and Little Shop for Babies in Smithtown.
I ultimately ended up buying a dress online from Baby Beau and Belle—christeninggowns.com. They have really pretty dresses and the quality was great.

After going to numerous stores and not finding anything I liked for under $300  , I ordered one off of babyheirlooms.com. I LOVED the dress- it was under $60 (I believe) and it was perfect for my dd. It was pretty plain, but thats what I wanted.

We just picked up DD's dress at JCP at the Roosevelt Field Mall. They had a good amount of dresses there and all of them were under $80

My kids have worn the family heirloom gown, so i've never bought one, but I've seen them at:
Strasburg Children in the Deer Park Outlets has some beautiful ones.
Kathleen's of Donegal (an Irish import shop in Rockville Centre).

Thanks for the recent replies but we had DD's christening already. DD's godmother and I went to probably every store and couldn't find anything we liked, we ended up at Barron's in Tri-County and they custom made DD's dress to our specifications. The end result was beautiful and turned out exactly how we envisioned but I wouldn't recommend them for a custom made dress because we had a lot of complications. ***I got my headpiece there for my wedding and had a great experience, so I definitely recommend them for ready made items***
