Moms who have the Chicco Polly or Graco Duo Diner

Can you offer some feedback?

I am currently registered for the Graco Duo Diner, but I haven't read many reviews on it since it's new. I haven't even seen it since it's only available online so far. I know the blossom gets great reviews, but we did not like any of the patterns offered.

DH and I like the look of the Chicco and it matches the car seat and pack-n-play we got (not that that is the most important thing), but I read in baby bargains that the seat is not easy to clean.

Thoughts??

We have the Chicco Polly and use it every day. I find that it's pretty easy to clean! The only problem is that sometimes food can get stuck in the corners, but we just use one of the vacuum attachments to get it out. It's really easy to wipe clean! We like it... but we haven't tried any others so I can't say if it's better or not, KWIM?

We also registered for the Chicco pack and play as well as the travel system and wanted everything to match Chat Icon

We ended up not using it as much as we had planned.

We originally wanted Loey to sleep in the bassinet portion, but he wanted no part in that! So we didn't use it for a while! Once we felt like we could put him in there to "play" he pretty much hated to be confined, so it didn't work out all that well. We did use it when we first came back to NY (we were living in San Diego) before our crib got here and he slept in there without a problem. My ILs have it now and use it when Loey is at their house (for naps).

I think it's great and we'll probably use it with our next child, but every baby is different and ours just happened to hate the PnP!

I had the Polly. It's a good highchair. We ended up giving it to a family member bc it's big and we're city dwellers. I think I got it based on the baby bargains recommendation.

we are happy with ours. i like the wipe-able seat cover better bc i dont have to constantly wash it every couple of days like the fabric one. food does get stuck in just about every corner of it, but if you wipe it right away it should be fine...i would imagine that happens with most high chairs though, no?

this exactly. I have the Polly and it is a cinch to clean. I wipe clean after a meal and then a couple times a week, I vacuum the corners. I also throw the top cushion in the washing machine about once every 2 weeks and it comes out looking great.

Re: Moms who have the Chicco Polly or Graco Duo Diner

I don't know if they changed the chicco polly high chair since 2007 when we got ours, but I hated it because 1. the tray did not fit into the dishwasher. 2. There were needless small indents in the design that caught so much food. 3. The fabric cover was not machine washable, and after a few months it looked horrible. We ended up getting a new high chair because I could not stand it. I ended up writing to the company to point out how they could improve their product - yes - it bothered me that much. I felt like they designed it without ever testing it on kids who were trying to feed themselves. So, if they made a machine washable or leather like seat cover, removed the groves in the chair and made the tray topper fit into a standard dishwasher then it would be a good high chair, otherwise I don't understand the hype.

ETS: I loved the recline feature but you can get that on many other high chairs too.
