Progesterone level = 146 ????
I forgot to post my progesterone level with my HCG level at 6weeks and I have a question.
Just to recap---
We are having our first sonogram next Thursday at 7 1/2 weeks along. I went in at exactly 6 weeks for a blood test and these were my results
HCG ----48,000
Progesterone level ----146
Doctor said they both looked great, but after looking up progesterone levels, mine seems a little high for only being this far along. I am just curious as to how high the progesterone number seems to you guys. 
Edit for extra info---I did not take any progesterone after or before IUI.

mine was near 200 at 13DPO. you are fine.
if you went in for bloodwork at 6w why didnt they do a sono??? i would be  !! you can usually see the heartbeat by 6w!!

if you went in for bloodwork at 6w why didnt they do a sono??? i would be !! you can usually see the heartbeat by 6w!!

I have been having my blood test done at Quest Lab by my place of employment in the city (convenience) and not by RE who is out of my way. RE asked me if I wanted the sono at 6wks or 7 wks. After doing some research, DH and I figure we would have a better chance to see the sack and hear the heartbeat at 7weeks. We were not expecting high numbers  Is only a few days away. It is teaching me patience...LOL!
I am sorry to ask, but was 200 progesterone level at 13dpo for one? Thank you for your help.

I have been following your story....I am in a very similar situation. I had an IUI by Dr. B on 12/18. Had my first beta on 12/29 at 10DPIUI (i had it done early because I was leaving for vacation the following morning). My beta was 50 and my progestrone was 55. I went for my second beta on 1/4 (16 DPIUI) and my beta was 1760 and my progrestrone was 65. I went for my first sonogram this past Monday (5w exactly) and we saw 3 sacs with 3 yolks inside.
Maybeeeeeee there are more than one inside of there for you too?!?!?!
I havent posted on the pregnancy board yet bc I am just so nervous since we went through a lot to get here, but just wanted to share my numbers....maybe it will help with yours. I am praying that all 3 are healthy and stick......I have a second sonogram on Tuesday which will be 6w1d.

well we did IVF and put back 2 perfect embryos and both implanted, but only one developed into a baby and one stayed an empty sac. the beta/progesterone at 13dpo were for two babies, but the progesterone was really high even later after we saw only one baby was developing. i was also on high dose PIO shots after IVF which im sure contributed to the high number.
i did read a bunch of things early on that said high progesterone was an indicator of multiples more than high/early doubling HCG, however after doing a lot of research it turns out thats just as subjective as beta #s equaling multiples.
either way theres nothing bad about high progesterone so i wouldnt worry about it being an issue. its better for it to be high than low.
