Question to those who found out the gender of their baby?
I am going off something someone wrote on my pregnancy post about the gender and am curious to know if this theory is true because I've heard it before as well...
If the tech/dr. was NOT able to determine the sex of the baby at your visit because the baby was not cooperating, did your baby turn out to be a girl or a boy when you did find out? I am hearing that if the tech was not able to determine the sex that it is most likely a girl (This baby was not budging and we could see nothing but Baby A was all too cooperative!)
TIA

Re: Question to those who found out the gender of their baby?
Its easier to tell a boy, that is true, we had a very good tech who saw he was a boy at 12w. Our doctor didn't' want to make that kind of guarantee for a while. But our tech was right.

Re: Question to those who found out the gender of their baby?
Well I had an amnio and the results were in the day of my Level II. So they told me - It's a girl! Then I went in for the sono.
The tech said- wow it's a good thing you know the sex from the amnio because this baby is NOT cooperating. She has her legs crossed.
So maybe there is some truth to that!

Re: Question to those who found out the gender of their baby?
I have no idea about this...but, and this is totally not scientific or anything, but my friend was expecting last year and she said they couldn't tell the gender at the 20 week, she decided to stay team , and turned out she had a Again, totally not scientific, and I have never heard of this theory, but for the one girl I knew, seems to have turned out true!

I couldn't find out the sex until 32 weeks. The first 2 times she had her legs crossed. The last time they were finally able to get the money shot.

Re: Question to those who found out the gender of their baby?
I know 3 people who had trouble finding out the gender because baby was "shy" -- all
my coworker found out the gender at 14 w because baby was not at all shy - (I didnt think you could find out that early but it was confirmed multiple times)

Re: Question to those who found out the gender of their baby?
My first was a boy and showed us right away! My 2nd and 3rd were both girls and they would not show us at my 20 week ultrasound. I ended up paying for a 3d ultrasound around 32 weeks with both of them to find out. So for me (2 times) this was right!

Re: Question to those who found out the gender of their baby?
!
Tech was not able to see at 20 weeks. We went back at 23 weeks and she was almost not able to see again but got a quick few second peek and was 95% sure girl. She was also stubborn at 30 weeks at the 3d ultrasound... but we got 100% confirmation then.

I think it is Ang-rich that they told her it was a girl and then turned out to be a boy at her 30 something week appointment. It was with her first.
