60th birthday gift ideas?
I've got a 60th birthday party coming up and I need to get a gift.
Any ideas? No cash, gift certificates, or specific store ideas please. Just general ideas would help so much!
She enjoys writing if that helps at all.

Thanks for these ideas. I can't do a pen because that's always the gift my work (it's my work colleague) gives when employees leave. I do, however, like the leather bound journal idea.

60th birthday gift ideas?
my family usually gets people who have everything, are settled and over a certain age the following.
They adopt a seal, sea turtle etc from the River head foundation. People love it, they receive pictures, history of the turtle, stuffed animal etc.
the money goes to caring for those the animals they care for in the hospital.
You live over seas? Im sure they must have something similar

Just got an email with "your presence is present enough."
Thank God. I am not good at gift buying. She did say if you feel you have to do something, then donate to 2 charities.
