Girls at the end--hungrier than ever?
OMG, I'm 38w feel like a bottomless pit lately. Every day this week, I've had my normal breakfast (yogurt with cereal and a banana) and an hour or so later, I'm on the train starving like I never ate--like verging on that hungry-nausea feeling.
I'd assume it's because I'm carrying a full-size baby who requires more nutrients, but since they say you don't tend to get any bigger and may even lose weight at the end, I didn't expect to be this hungry.
Anyone else?

Yes!! And Im only 35 weeks. I wake up starving and am always hungry!!And if I dont eat I start to get all shaky and feel like Im gonna  . Its crazy!!

ME TOO!!!!
I just said this to DH last night. I am always starving and I have 4 days left. I have read and heard from many moms that they lost weight the last week or so. NOT ME!
I have been gaining 2lbs a week . Every week for the past month.
Not sure either. I know I am carrying still very high, the baby has not dropped at all. They usually say you lose weight when the baby drops and u can lose a few lbs of fluid.
Hopefully soon our LO's will arrive!!

I've dropped--dr. said I won't drop any more because baby's head is as low as it can go, and I'm still gaining about a LB a week! I'm thinking maybe I have more room in my stomach now that it's not so squished?

I think we def have more room in our stomach at this point. That is a great sign since your LO has dropped!!! I always would get stuffed so easily and not anymore. I also noticed my Heart Burn/Acid Reflux has gone away...which is allowing me to eat alot more too and finally enjoy food again. ( prob too much) lol

I feel like I'm super hungry all the time too! I don't even understand it. I can't keep my stomach full anymore!
And despite losing some weight last week... I gained it back plus a little more this week. I'm not too worried about it since I'm not really doing that much different. But I woke up completely starving this morning!!!
My hip is also killing me and I don't know if it's from the baby or from being so freakin heavy now.

I've been eating a ton these days (alot of junk too)...yet, just got back from my 38 week appt and lost 2 lbs! Go figure!

I was just thinking this that all of sudden i feel hungry all the time. i have been eating the same and it was never a problem now I feel like i am always hungry so naturally i eat somethign when i am
