6 month old solids
my dd looooves to eat. im so happy that she took to it well.
the only problem is that she's spitting up now
not sure if she is eating too much or if she is reacting to certain things.
ive only done fruits so far. i breatsfeed too. she eats a little at a time... bottles are only 4 ounces at most. im only filling up about an ounce of food.. maybe a little more.
ill feed her milk first.. then wait about an hour and do food, twice per day. in know they say milk should come beofre food at this point, so i dont want to eliminate that. should i jjust wait longer between?
TIA

Re: 6 month old solids
I feed first & then do milk per ped. DD does super well with solids & the ped is having me cut back on her milk by feeding veggies, fruits & meats. She also does cereal in the AM. We do solids 3X a day (cereal is a must 1x a day per ped) & then milk whenever after. I find if she drinks & eats too close together, she does spit up.

Keep doing what you're doing as the breastmilk is much more important than solids. Maybe wait a bit longer in between

The milk is much more important than the solids. I always nurse/pump bottle first and about 30-60 minutes later do food. Dd2 would throw up when she would eat too much. I just do a little at a time.

Re: 6 month old solids
Spitting up is common in babies. It may have nothing to do with what you're doing. Spitting up has to do with an immature digestive track. If she's throwing up, that's a different story.
