6-7 month old solids/breastfeeding schedule
Can you please share your feeding schedule and amounts? I took DS for his 6 month check up and I'm supposed to be doing 3-4 meals a day now instead of 2. But I breastfeed when DS first wakes up (I can't even change him first...he wants to nurse right away!), and then he's not that hungry right away for breakfast. Am I supposed to give him his breakfast before I breastfeed?
Thanks!

Well, this just goes to show you how doctors can be on such different pages sometimes....
I stopped BFing DD when she was 5.5 months, but she is 7 months now and my ped said we won't add a 3rd meal until she is closer to 9 months!
So we will be sticking to 2 meals for a while longer.

Re: 6-7 month old solids/breastfeeding schedule
here's what we do (i'll just give you a sample of one day/times - obviously it varies)
6:30 am - BF 7:30 am - fruit
10:30 - bottle of BM (I'm at work) 11:30 - another fruit or veggie
2:30 - BF 3:30 - veggie
6:30 - BF
8:00 - BF before bed
Usually the morning is just one "cube" (1 oz) and the second is 1 or 2.... the third is usually 2 cubes.
Today we gave papaya in the morning and lunchtime, then yogurt for the 3rd time. Yesterday was papaya twice, then carrots. We could feed him also after the 6:30 BF and sometimes we do... sometimes we don't.
