5weeks bleeding - stil

I am just about 5 weeks pregnant, Saturday i had bright red bleeding and a small clot, I went to the dr, they tested my hog levels, did an ultrasound, but they didn't see anything, which we figured would happen. I really only see it when I wipe, it kind of went away over the weekend, it was just light pink, yesterday and today I had nothing. I followed up with my regular obgyn this morning and they did another ultrasound, we saw a sac, which I am happy about,but just now I wiped and there was a small clot and red blood again.

Anyone have this and have it turn out fine, no complications during the pregnancy/delivery? Did they ever find out why you were bleeding? They took more blood to test hog levels which I will get back tomorrow, he said 1 out of 3 pregnancies will bleed, I just hate not knowing why

I've never been through this but I know my sister bleed throughout her pregnancy. She had a healthy DD who is now 7.5yrs.

Call your doctor for any concerns you may have.

My cousin had a lot of bleeding/spotting early. Its not always a bad sign, and ive never heard of it in relation to a bad or complicated delivery.

I had this during early pregnancy. From about 7w all the way to 12w and it drove me crazy! they were never able to find out where the blood was coming from and it would freak me out not knowing. i must have rushed to the ER/Dr office so many times but i didn't care! i didn't want anything to happen to this baby!
the bleeding was heavy at times and lighter on other days, just the way you described. However, please try to keep positive, I am now 26w2d and thankfully, all is going well - so it goes to show that the bleeding, while not normal, is not uncommon and can turn out well!

It is driving me crazy!! lol. I have no idea where it's coming from, i think the clots are what are really bugging me out. I had two previous pregnancies, that were so easy, never felt sick, never had any issues, this one seems to be a troublemaker!! I just wish I knew what is going on!!

Hang in there :) I have massive bleeding (like more then a period with lots of clots) with DS around 5-6 weeks and he's now 2.5!
I also had heavy bleeding with this pregnancy around 11 wks and I'm almost 27wks now :)

Wow! That makes me feel so much better!! Thank you!!! This pregnancy is making me so anxious already!!

I just got the call from my DR. Saturday night, HCG was 1388, Monday morning it is 4000, so it definitely is going up!! Made me feel a lot better.

I know they checked your HCG levels, but did they check your progesterone levels? Bleeding this long that's not related to a SCH, makes me feel like you might just need progesterone support. It's an easy fix, but you should ask for that to be tested.

It's not like a constant bleeding, i guess i should put spotting. I only see it when I wipe, except the first night when I saw it when I went to the bathroom, other than that it's been only like one time a day when I wipe.

But I will have him check that out, thank you!!! I am going next Wednesday for my 7 week, I can't do 8 weeks, and he's off at 9 weeks, so we are going early.

i have bled for like 80 percent of this pregnancy

from irritation due to supps..

to a few hemotoas

to a ruptured placenta

it can be from so many things and sometimes they have no idea why

drink water,feet up
