What clothes should you buy for a newborn?
Any advice on what to buy for the hospital and the first few weeks. I know there is the issue of the bellybutton. TIA!

Side snap shirts for the belly button. I also like clothes with feet best- socks on a baby are a PITA.
Also have a few really small things around. Katie was 6 lbs 11 1/2 oz and for the first month or two 0-3 didn't fit- way too big. We were running to the store looking for clothes that fit her.

Yes side snap tee shirts and i just bought alot of stretchies. You want the baby to be comfortable.
