Those of you who are doing the Cord Blood Banking w/CBR is your dr. charging you a collection fee?
Mine is! and it's $350!!
I spoke with CBR today and they said they would reimburse $125 of it if the insurance doesn't cover it either.
anyone have any experience w/this?

I used CBR and my Dr. didn't charge me a collection fee!

Holy!  $350 is ALOT, IMO. My OB charges $200, but she waived it w/ both of my pregnancies. Can you try to negotiate it? It's nice that CBR is reimbursing part of it, though. It also sukks that insurance doesn't cover any of it.

Mine charged $300. I didn't even try to get re-imbursed. That was a great idea.
