Sort of a RP - Restaurant suggestions for a small party
I'm looking for a restaurant to have a dinner for about 15 people for the baby's Christening.
Any recommendations in Nassau or Western Suffolk?

Wantagh Inn has a nice upstairs room that is a good size. We had our RD there. Prices were reasonable and the food was good.

Grappa in East Meadow is really nice and they do great private parties.
I also heard (but haven't been to) Fabio's is good and they have a private room.
Gemeli's in Babylon Village is excellent, but a bit more expensive.

Italian is good.
  Red, where is that place?
Price range... I'm trying to keep it around $35 - $40/pp... approximately, we can a go a little higher.

For a party of 15 you can easily stay in that price range... Plus i think they add the cake in there

Thanks - they are so close to me, I'll have to check it out. Maybe we'll go have dinner there this weekend.

We had Jared's Christening at Vincents in Westbury. We paid about 27 dollars a person.
edit to add: We had tons of food too.

You can also try La Parma in either Oceanside & Williston Park. They have a nice room in the upstairs of the Oceanside location. They serve family style plates. I don't know their prices, but I've been to a few parties there. Very good stuff.

- Il Classico on Merrick Road in Massapequa. Both my nephew's Christenings were there, within the past few years they renovated and now there is a private room. - Veranda's II on Park Blvd in Massapequa has good food.

For Christenings, I've been to some good ones at Cirella's, (Huntington); Caffe Baci (Westbury); Piccolo (Huntington); the Mill Pond (Centerport);Panama Hattie's (Huntington) and Joanina's (Huntington).
Joseph's Christening was at Tello (Huntington) and Maddie's was at Tutto Pazzo (Huntington).
