Qiuck chicken crockpot question....
More traffic on this board.
Anyway, I am making chicken cacciatore in the crockpot with boneless skinless chicken thighs, how long does it cook on high? ( I put in onions, mushrooms, peppers, wine, and classico sauce. ) I am thinking 6- 8 hours on high but not sure . I am making it for tomorrow night, so it soaks in and tastes yummy when reheated.

If you haven't already done so I'd wait until the last hour to put in the mushrooms as they might fall apart if they are in that long. Six hours should be enough.

Most things if you are cooking 6 -8 hours should be on low.

I jsut checked a crockpot recipe website and they suggest...for a few or their recipes....for 3 lbs of chicken...with the bone...cook for 6-8 hrs on LOW
