Has anyone frozen fresh basil?
I have a basil plant that is taking over my window sill and I would like to do something with it. Has anyone tried to freeze it? How did it come out?

My mom has and she said it's fine. Maybe you want to freeze some leaves, and also make some pesto sauce and freeze that as well.

My grandmother used to grow it in her garden and had tons frozen in the freezer, as well as give it out to all the kids which had it in their freezers.
