Want a break from cooking during the week?
Just an FYI... My husband wanted to give me a break from cooking on Thursday night and said he just wanted to have a relaxing dinner where we actually talked and didn't have to rush to clean up, etc. We went to a little cafe in Williston Park and ended up having a great Prix Fixe meal...we had everything from appetizers to dessert! The place was also empty so the service was excellent! We determined this was something we would do from now on rather than eating out on weekends when it's crowded and more expensive! I'm sure there are plenty of places that offer this but we we hadn't known about it! Just thought I'd share what we found!

Re: Want a break from cooking during the week?
It was called Cafe Picasso. It's on Hillside Avenue. They are very friendly in there. I'm sure if you go during the week it's very kid-friendly. Like I said it was empty in there! I'm actually having my sister's baby shower there in two weeks and they have been nothing but accomodating! I had only been there once before last year for a work luncheon and just thought we'd try it out before the shower.
