If you bought a helium tank
the Balloon Time ones from Target, Party City, BJ's, etc. Where can you return the empty tanks? The garbage men left them behind, so I guess they can't take them.

Probably have to recycle them with your town at the next STOP collection... Even then, I am not sure they would take them, so call ahead.

I always forget about those STOP events.
I called Party City earlier and the girl told me "Just throw it in a garbage bag. They are bio-degradable."  Sure, metal tanks will breakdown when buried.

Good to know! We have one from last Sept. that we can't figure out how to get rid of.

We always put them out with the recycling and they get picked up.
