Need suggestions on a location for baby shower
Looking for a hall/location only for approx 100 people.
Preparing/Bringing our own food.
Preferrably Queens or Western Nassau.
VFW, K of C, American Legion, etc are all okay.
I'm at a loss of which places have rental facility.
Looking for something reasonably priced.

I went to a wedding at a K of C I think in Lake Success (western nassau) which was really nice. Not sure of the details though...

There's a nice Knights of Columbus in Flushing in the 160's off of Northern Blvd. Their party room is very pretty.
I'm pretty sure the rental price is reasonable.

There's the American Legion in Floral Park on Elizabeth Street...right by John Lewis Childs Elementary School, also the K of C in Lake Success is nice, but they were more pricey because they don't let you bring in outside food, we tried! Another place is the VFW Hall, (I think it's that) on Willis Ave in Williston Park, or Albertson (it's definitely on Williston right near the post office)!!!!

We usually have large family parties at Fuschillo Park in Carle Place. It is a HUGE room with tables/chairs with a private kitchen in the back to store some food and you could heat some up back there also. They only charge about $300-400 as a rental fee and you can bring in anything that you want. I would call for more info, its a realy nice space! 516-869-6311

I second this place! My friend had her daughter's christening there. The room is beautiful, they provide real linens, silverware,china & glasses. The bar area is nice with a bartender! She said price was very reasonable.
