Frank's Steakhouse...
on jericho tpke...
...any good??? someone suggested trying there
and
I live nearby and pass it often and always just thought it was just a cheesy chain or diner type place (no clue why-maybe bec of the big bold sign and the fact that it is in a tiny strip-mall type place)
But I am looking for a nice dinner for my anniversary tomorrow and tired of the same ol' same ol'
I also was suggested Prime....but if we are looking to do a comedy show in Levitown...probably makes more sense to do Frank's than Prime...due to proximity...
but is Prime WAY better than Franks!?!??! or are they comparable!?!?!

ETA: how does Ruth's Chris and City Cellar also compare to the above two!??!?!

DH and I didn't think Prime was anything special for steaks. The appetizer was great, but anything besides that I would have rather saved my money and went to Outback. But I know a lot of people rave about it.
Ruth Chris is good - they put lots of butter on the steak. 
The other places I have never been to.

I haven't been to the other places but go to Franks and get the Romanian Skirt Steak and you will NOT be disappointed.......mmmmmmmmm, so goooood. Their creamed spinach is also delish. Enjoy

Franks is ok but for an anniversary I would try:
Rare 650
Rothman's
Fulton and Prime
These are other Steakhouses that are better than Frank's IMO.. These are all in the basic area of where Franks is...

I work near Franks and we go there all the time. GREAT food! I've been there for lunch and dinner and have yet to be disappointed!
