WR: Bridal Shower Locations
I am my sister's MOH and need to start planning her bridal shower, but to be honest I am clueless about where to have it. (My sister had mine at a friend's house and none of my friends are married).
As for details, there will probably be between 35-45 people. I am looking for reasonably priced places in Nassau County - near (but not limited to) Levittown, Wantagh, Bellmore.
Additionally - what time of day are bridal showers typically and how long do they last?
TIA!

Re: WR: Bridal Shower Locations
I would say the timing is usually 12-4 or 2-6, something like that. I went to a nice shower at Blue Moon in RVC and it was reasonable.

Sergios in Massapequa is VERY reasonable. It's not fancy, but the food is great, the room is private and they are very accomodating.
Their website lists the package prices.
I would try to do it around noon or 1PM.

Re: WR: Bridal Shower Locations
check la piazza in Merrick and see if Sage Bistro does private parties, I bet they're not busy during the day..
In other areas, Louies in Port Washington does a great job. Mine was at Laguna Grille in Woodbury and they were GREAT! Closed the whole place for us!

Mine was at the Davenport Press in Mineola. It was lovely!
I've also had parties at Seventh Street Cafe, but not sure if their private room could hold 45 people... They also do a great party. I think they can section off part of the upstairs dining room for larger parties during the day, but I'm not sure. They are super nice if you call to ask.

also like a previous poster said, La Piazza in Merrick would also be a good choice

Re: WR: Bridal Shower Locations
I have been to a shower at Milleridge Inn (Jericho). I am not sure how much they paid per person but the food and staff were great. I would def recommend it. Most showers I've been to start around noon.

Mine started at Noon. I think it went for 3 hours? Ask the restaurant/caterer. They will tell you how long the party typically lasts.
