Book Recomnendations
I am having surgery in 2 wks and I am going to have a lot of free time on my hands and I would love to read. Lately, I only read for school, so with having the summer off I would love to do some leisure reading.
Any recommendations??? TIA

Mystery: PD James, Martha Grimes, Patricia Cornwell
chick lit: spohie Kinsella, Janet Evanovich, Meg Cabot
there's Stephen King, Dean Koontz....
classics like A tree grows in brooklyn....

For a very quick, light read, "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weiner was fun. I also enjoyed "My Sister's Keeper" and "Keeping Faith" both by Jodi Picoult. A little more on the serious side but very enjoyable was "Empire Falls" by Richard Russo.
