5 year old Tea Party Menu
So I took almost all of your party and dress up suggestions.
Now I need some menu planning help for some fun and festive "tea" foods.
I'm having a custom tea pot cake made. Also tea pot cookies.
What kind of sandwiches and treats would be good. I want to use those 3 tier towers to put the food on.
TIA!!

First thing that came to mind was scones....
Otherwise any little sandwiches cut into quarters would be cute I think

Adorable. Love the butterfly ones too!! I wonder if I did strawberry cream cheese with mini chocolate chips if the kids would eat them. Sounds like the olives on the butterflies weren't a hit.

Re: 5 year old Tea Party Menu
I would pick two or three different types of sandwiches, turkey and cheese, ham and cheese and maybe pb&j or tuna or chicken salad. You could make the sandwiches and use cookie cutters and make them flower shapes.
Maybe some kind of macaroni and cheese thing....I have to look, but I had a recipe for mac and cheese muffins....might be cute for a tea party.
I'll keep thinking!
Here is the link for the mac and cheese muffins. http://uggamugga.blogspot.com/2009/12/mac-and-cheese-muffins.html

You can do PB&J, tuna, turkey and cheese. You can cut them in quarters or even circles. Also - not sure of nut allergies - but if you can't try date nut bread with cream cheese - maybe cinnamon raisin bread with cream cheese? Apples with peanut butter.

little sandwiches. Cream cheese and jelly, turkey, cheese. You can use cookie cutters to make them into shapes and it takes the crusts off too

What a cute idea. The mac n cheese will be great b/c it's lunch time.

Re: 5 year old Tea Party Menu
The mac n cheese gave me another "lunch" idea. Mini pizza bagels would probably be good too. I'll probably do those two and one kind of sandwich and then the "treats".
