5 month old: Stage 1 Half or whole jar?
DS eats solids 3 times a day. Stage 1 so the small jars
I have been giving him
1/2 jar at 7am (with 3-4 tsps oatmeal)
whole jar 12pm (with 3-4 tsps oatmeal)
1/2 jar 4pm (with 3-4 tsps oatmeal)
Are you giving 1/2 jars or whole jars at each feeding? I feel like the jars are so small. when he was getting primarily oatmeal he was eating 7-8 tsps and then I was giving him a little apple sauce (for flavor since he wasnt loving the pain oatmeal). Now I feel like 1/2 a jar is so little. He eats and doesnt act like he wants more, but he also takes the whole jar with no problem.
Just curious sould I keep it as is or do all full jars?

we only do meals 2x a day. that will probably go to 3x at 6 months (that's what Ped said for DD1) and that is when we added yogurt. DD2 eats a whole stage 1 jar for breakfast and dinner. the yogurt will become her lunch when she starts it.

I gave DS a whole jar, and sometimes a jar and a half when he still seemed hungry and was opening his mouth for more.

I don't know how much a jar is but at that time DS was having 2 meals with 4oz each.
