4yo DS not excited to go to Disney
We are going to Disney this week and DS said he doesn't like Disney anymore and wants to just go to SeaWorld and LEGOLAND. I was planning to do MK/AK for extended hours on Thursday, SeaWorld and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Friday and then LEGOLAND on Saturday.
I recently saw a youtube video of a 5yo girl in tears when she found out she is going back to Disney. Then there is my kid who isn't all that interested.
Anyone else's kid not a big fan of Disney?
My kids do love animals and dinosaurs. Think they may enjoy AK more than MK. I booked Wilderness Lodge just so we could ride a boat to MK. What a waste!

Sounds like he is "Disney-ed out".
That little 5 year old girl probably never went & has been wanting to meet a princess her whole life!
Do animal kingdom instead... and the not so scary party if you need a disney fix.

This will be his 3rd time in Disney in the past 2 yrs.
He doesn't like Sesame either. My kids weren't into the sesame characters at beaches turks and caicos at all. They loved the beach and pool though.

Sorry, had to. Honestly, I'm sure he'll be thrilled when he gets there and it sounds like you plan to incorporate the things he is most excited about into the trip as well. I wouldn't worry too much. I don't think any child (or person) has ever actually arrived at Disney and been in a bad mood.

Honestly it just sounds like your DS is being whiny...I highly doubt he'll even remember he didnt want to go when the time comes.

Even if he isn't seeing all the characters, there is still so much to do. Take him to the Swiss Family Robinson house and let him climb away. Take the boat over to Tom Sawyer's Island and explore. Then have those interactive scavenger hunt, so maybe try that. Just play up the things he hasn't done before.
