silly question about holiday card - advice please!!
im at a new job since sept.
director sent everyone a photo holiday card. which I thought was very nice.
I feel obligated to send something back (I know, so late  )
do I send a photo card of mine (and write "wishing you a hppy new year on back) send nothing ? send a "blank note" card with happy new year only?
she knows we're swamped at work, so better late than never, but what to send ? Im going to delete this late so please dont quote. a few people lurk here

I agree with AP, it is too late right now and not necessary. If I were to get a card now, I know I would "know" that I only got it because they got mine, not because they wanted to send them out, KWIM?
Just add her onto your list for next year

forget it.its already a month past xmas. I wouldnt bother. i doubt your boss sends cards to get cards in return.

thanks guys- I agree that it's WAY late, but I felt rude not returning a card. I know she didnt expect one back, but I almost feel obligated. ok, i'll let it go
