flat screen LCD tvs
Looking to pirchase a flat screen tv for DH for Christmas. Just started shopping around--I have NO idea what to look for. Anyone have any advice/brands/sets they'd recommend? I'm looknig for a 30-39 inch tv for our bedroom....TIA

We just bought the Samsung 32in wide screen LCD and we love it. In our opinion, it had the best picture quality. We purchased at Best Buy and got a pretty good deal.

I got the PERFECT deal for you.
Get the Syntax Olevia 37" Flat LCD TV. You can get it at Microcenter in Westbury for $1199 after a few rebates.
They may be lowering the price to $999 for Black Friday. If they do... you can take your paid receipt back to them on Black Friday and get an extra $200 off (supposedly what a salesman told me).
But $1199 is a STEAL for a flat screen LCD.

Is Syntax considered a good brand, that would be a great price but is it good quality? I am so clueless about these things, when it comes to electronics but DH sooooo wants one and our tv in the bedroom broke so I thought it was time....I don't mind spending a lot if quality is good but would love to spend less and stil lget good quality
