Did you have to pay for Lamaze classes?

Did you have to pay for Lamaze classes?
The hospital where I am delivering does not offer Lamaze classes. So my questions are:
1 - Where did you take Lamaze?
2 - How much did you pay?

I took Lamaze and it cost $125

my insurance covers it and what it doesn't cover my husbands insurance covers.

I took it through St. Catherine's. It wasn't really a hospital program though. It was one of the L&D nurses who gave it. It was $175. I thought it was alot of $$ but I did want to go, and thought DH would get alot out of it and learn some stuff that I didn't really want to be the one to tell him was going to happen. All in all, I'm glad we did it.

I am taking in at a doctors office after hours. It is $110. It would have been more if I had done it through the hospital.

Most hospitals provide Birthing classes for parents-to-be. I'll be delivering at LIFJ, and I'm in the middle of my sessions right now. I paid $190, and my insurance didn't cover it.
