When are you going to go on leave from work?
I am trying to figure out when I should go on leave. I would continue to work from home, but when should I stop seeing clients. I have appointments booked through week 36 of my pregnancy. I don't know if I should book more appointments or see how I feel. I am so confused about this. TIA for your opinions/comments.

I'm having a c-section on Friday and I am working until Thursday. If I wasn't having the c-section, the plan was to work until I gave birth. I have been feeling really good- so I didn't see the need to sit at home and wait for the baby. Since I am going back to work and only have a limited amount of time off- I want to spend every minute with my little girl.

I am confused on what to do with this as well. I wanted to stop a week before my due date but what if he comes late. I don't want to take time off early, cuz the earlier you stop the earlier you have to go back.

My last day of work was set to be one week before my due date. BUT... I had been working primarily from home for several weeks at that point, just coming into the city once a week to meet with people, etc.
Turned out I never came in for that last day, I ended up giving birth!

I'm planning on going on as long as possible. I do not want to be home anxiously waiting for my due date, and would rather distract myself by coming in to work. Thankfully, I haven't had any complains with my pregnancy up until now (32 weeks). And if all goes well, I will be able to use spend all maternity leave in company of our baby, and not a moment sooner.

As long as I can. I want most of my maternity leave to be after the baby is born. I will tell my job to schedule me up until 39 wks then if I haven't had the baby and all is well I might come in for xtra hours if the need me.

My last day was this past friday and I'm due April 19th. I didnt want to work any more than that even though I feel great, it is just so busy at work and the longer I am their the more stressed I get because I dont have a lot of faith in the girl that took my position so it was better that I left a week and a half early .

I planned on taking a week off before my first was due, but he had other plans and arrive nearly 3 weeks early. So in essence, I worked up until a friday and he was born on a Sunday.

I am working as long as I can, however since I am carrying twins my doctor said be prepared for bedrest towards the end of my pregnancy. I will follow whatever he instructs me to do. If i can i will try and work from home during that time, but it might be a little hard if I am told to not get up.

Im 7 weeks prego...and I already left my job. My job considers alot of lifting, stair climbing and being on my feet 8 hours a day...I am currently looking for a job, that wont be so strenuating. I might just apply somewhere cute like babies r us. I dont plan on working after our baby is born.

I'm due July 20th, but plan on resigning for June 16th (possibly earlier.)
