Re: travelling to the caribean with 4 month old?

i want to go to an island that has huge resorts (that we can go for walks with DD)
and I know that the dominican republic has huge beautiful resorts -
we want to go after christmas and be there for new years - so i know eveyrthing is sooo expensive, double the regular price.
i checked out a acouple of islands (all inclusive) and DR seems the most reasonable to go during the time, I just dont know if its the best place....
I've been to Puerto Plata about 6 yrs ago but not sure how things are there now.

we went to Aruba when Erik was that young. Its a very easy age for travel, and Aruba is quite family friendly.

We took DD to Puerto Rico at 5 months old and it was awesome. She slept well from being outside so much and we even put her in the pool. We got a seperate room for her so we could have our night without having to tiptoe around. We just made sure to keep her covered and out of the sun but they are pretty easy to travel with at that age (besides all teh gear).

I'd just be careful where you go and check travel warnings to what diseases are prevalent in that country since your DD won't be fully vaccinated yet.
