 | Re: Sleep suggestions while sick I would try Little Noses Saline drops and try to suction out whatever mucus you can..also try a humidifer. Those both seemed to work great |

 | Re: Sleep suggestions while sick I put a wedge under Alex's crib mattress to elevate it. I also used a steam vaporizer during the night, which seems to help. If it gets really bad, turn the shower on as hot as it gets and sit in the bathroom with Roman for about 15 mins. It usually helps... |

Thanks Michelle, I have been using the drops suctioning, and leaving the cool mist humidifer on. Should he be sleeping with his head elevated? Should I try raising the crib mattress at one end a bit? He actually sleeps well in the car seat but I feel bad leaving him in there all night.

def. elevate his head, this will help him breathe better and will help to deter an ear infection (or at keast fluid from collecting in his ears.)
Hope he feels better soon! |

We do this as well. As for the wedge, we just put a couple of books under the mattress. It does the same thing. Honestly, if he sleeps better in the car seat, I'd let him sleep in there for now. Just until he gets better.
