 | non-stress test and biophysical Are they the same thing? or done at the same time? Who does it (Doctor or sono tech.) When are they normally done???

 | Re: non-stress test and biophysical The NST (non stress test) is when they monitor both the heartbeat and contraction pattern.  It's usually set up by a nurse and reviewed by a doctor.  The BPP (biophysical profile) is a sonogram that measures 4 things:  your amniotic fluid level, baby's movement, baby's breathing and shoot I can't remember what the 4th thing was  I've been out of work to long, my brain is going to mush! |  		| Posted 6/28/06 5:21 PM   |
