 Re: TOday's met game
The umps are f'in pathetic.
The call on Sanchez was very questionable. But what about that HR (or no-HR).
Give me a break... the ball hit off the wall. The 1B umpire doesn't signal a HR because he knows it didnt leave the yard. Then the damm home plate ump (who is further from the play) overrules the 1B ump and calls it a HR.

Total CRAP! Good thing they won today. Wild game.

 Re: TOday's met game
It was a fair ball that should have been played off the wall. How can you call a ball that hits off the wall a HR?

 Re: TOday's met game
The bad call itself from the ump isn't even what ****** me off. Bad calls are a part of baseball... the Mets got their fair share (although not as many as called against them).
The ump closest to the play (the 1b ump)... didn't signal a HR... so the play was still alive.
What ****** me off was the fact that the home plate ump (further away from the play)... overruled the call (or really non-call) of the 1b ump and signaled HR.

Hey home plate ump: Don't you think if your buddy thats CLOSER to the play doesn't call it a HR.... it probably isn't ya moron.
