4400 Watchers! Last night...
my cable went out for the last 5 minutes ( ) just when Tom and his new "wife" were making an announcement - did they decide to "go back" to the old life.....what happened??

As they were making their announcement/toast, the new wife slowly "willed" each one of the guests out of attendance. They disappeared one by one in front of their eyes. When they were all gone (Tom's son Kyle was the last to go), Tom and his wife walked out of the house. When they walked out of it, the house disappeared. Then Tom was awakened by his partner in the "real world," only a moment had past and he was zoned out. She was asking him about the file for a "new" returnee who just happened to be Alana. He asked his partner where she was and his partner told her Alana just left the building (she was there for some sort of physical). Tom ran after her. He caught up to her (obviously he still had the memory of her) she smiled and they embraced (I guess she also had the memory of him). That was the end of the episode

The 4400 on USA. It's a show about people who were abducted by aliens and then returned to Earth. It's on Sunday nights at 9.
