Taking Ava to the Ped. GI tomorrow, what should I expect?
She has been in so much pain from her reflux lately. We are finally going to the GI tomorrow. Just wondering what to expect? TIA!

they will probably ask for her history, like how she eats, what signs of reflux she has etc. they may suggest going for tests. have you been to www.marci-kids.com? you must read that sight before you go! what specialist are you seeing?

Both of my girls saw the GI Doc and it was great. They take their weight and ask you a bunch of questions and then they make a plan either medications or diet. They are much better then the pediatrician and now both of my girls are happy with no more reflux issues at 7 months. Reese was on Medication Prilosec which helped and Sydney was on food Breakfast, lunch and dinner spaced 3-4 hours a part..which was a miracle..inbetween if either of them got fussy i would give Malox. Good luck!

We went over medical hisptory they sent us for blood work, they tested his stool, and we talked alot about symptoms, some I didn't realize were even happening.
