4 year old is a picky eater

Does anyone have a 4 year old who is a really picky eater. DS only eats hard boiled eggs, cream cheese with bagel, pasta with butter and cheese, pizza, and sometimes chicken nuggets with french fries. He likes some sweets but I am worried his healthy IF anything looks slightly different ...like I slipped something in like a finely chopped veggie he will not eat. He had a wonderful appetite up until 20-24 months and now our 18 month old DD is starting to follow his habit. Anyone have any solutions?

My DS is very picky. He's also 4. No real advise but keep trying a healthy with the other foods he eats. I don't suggest to change something he loves or he'll never trust it again. My stubborn eater would stop. I usually try bribes. Whatever works. If he has the carrot he can get a cookie ( which is usually the organic animal cracker or those whonoo cookies). I also bribe with TV, the iPad, etc.

Still better then my 4 year old that only eats yogurt and french fries..... Just keep giving what he likes and add new stuff once in a while...

Your DS eats more than my 4 year old DD All she will eat is pasta with cheese, pizza, and pancakes. We also try to slip things in like chicken and veggies but she picks it out

I have a picky 4 and 5 year old. I could count on my 2 hands what they would eat.At least you get an egg into yours. My 5yo has a huge sweet tooth.

Oh yes, forgot to add he eats pancakes. I do not feel so bad ... I am just so concerned he is not getting all the nutrition he needs by not eating veggies. I do make sure he gets a multivitamin each night.

Mine is super picky too. I am already stressing about kindergarten lunch next year!!

DS is 4 and only eats:

chicken nuggest
mac and cheese
fish sticks
grilled cheese
pasta with sauce or butter
zucchini
string beans
hot dogs
french fries
fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes, berries)
french toast
pancakes
eggs (sometimes)
pizza

ummm...i think thats it lol
