4 ounces of formula for a 3 week old
I mean really don't ya think,that is a bit much ...but when he is done with 3 he is screaming like a lunatic.....also how are those dr brown bottles with that blue straw for the air?,..ya think,I would be a pro this is my 3 rd child. Lol Tia

My sisters ds is 5 weeks old and drinks 6oz bottles atleast twice a day. The kid is a beast lol and always hungry. She spoke to her ped and he said it was fine so she just goes with it. I was shocked when she told me but hey if he wants it and has room for it why not lol
And I have used the Dr Browns bottles since day 1 with dd and I loved them and so did she. We tried the born free in the beginning but she liked dr browns better

My DS was drinking 4 oz bottles from about 2-3 weeks and has been since. He is also gaining weight right on target. Take your cues from them on how much to feed them. A newborn will not overeat.

my 1st DS left the hospital on 4oz. He would down 2 nursettes...LOL. But he was always a big eater.
No, 4 oz for 3 weeks is not too much.

Thanks ladies..and like I said this is my 3rd kid you thnk I would know..but I nursed my first...my second I nursed but not as long..but I guess I forgot..don't know why she is only 17 months...but I was so nervous to give him 4 oz I thought he would explode..lol..but I guess that is what he needs...

Nope! My son left the hospital downing 3 oz and was up to 4 at 2 weeks!

It actually seems like the norm to me! I've seen some babies that drink alot more than that in less than 3 hours!

?.really I swear I was so afraid I felt like he was going to explode..but stupid me he is growing not getting smaller....thanks ladies
