4 month shots and just getting over a cold....
My boys are just getting over a cold....they had a runny nose and a cough for a week. We have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning for their 4 month shots but my Mom told me that I shouldn't take them if they have a cold. I have never heard of this. What do you all think?

I would call the Dr. I could be wrong but I think it's if they have a fever they can't have shots.

DD was just getting over a cold for her 2 month shots. She also never had a fever. I thought the dr was going to say she couldn't have her shots, but he said if it's just a cold, it's no problem at all, even if it were an active cold with no fever. She had them and had no problems.

I would still keep the appointment and see what the Dr. says. The worst is that he wont give the shots.
