4 day transfer for IVF?
Has anyone ever heard of this?
I know someone having a 4 day transfer and they were expecting 3 or 5.
The doctor said since its 2 embies, that 4 is better. 4 is his "magic" day.
What are your thoughts? Any success stories I can pass to her?

I must say...this is a new one on me..but hey...I guess it does not matter except that by putting it in one day earlier than a 5-Day transfer you will never know if any of the embies did not make it to day 5 or the blast stage. Then again..many believe that the best place for the embies is inside...so..I personaly would not worry about it that much. GL to your friend.

I have heard of a 4 day transfer before. Don't worry- trust your dr. I've actually heard that the embryologist that just did our embryos prefers freezing on day 4 over 3 or 5, so there's got to be something to that, right? I would totally do it. HTH!
