4 1/2 week sono-nothing visible
So I was spotting really lightly on Sunday evening (like a light tan color) and I called my doc. Monday morning to go get blood tests, and a sono (they wanted me to get one). Well by the time I was at the doctors I wasn't really spotting anymore, but went to the sono anyway. They had three people come in and take a look (which is freaking me out) and then at the end they said it was too early to see anything. The doctor came in at the end (not my doctor) and said they think it looks like its too early but depending on where my HcG is they will then figure out what if anything they should see and proceeded to tell me that the worry they always have is pregnancy in a tube . I was misdiagnosed with an ectopic before so now I am really freaking out and crying. I have been having cramping but I thought that is was normal....I am so scared...worried and depressed. I didn't eat anything all day because I just wasn't hungry and felt nauseas. I am going to see my other OBGYN tomorrow so I am assuming they will do another sono...I really hope they see something where it should be! Anyway just had to get it out, because I have no one to talk to. I have only told my Hubby and brother but they are so worried because of what happened before that I don't want to worry them further.

Try and relax (it's better for your body). It's totally normal not to see anything that early. I had a sono at 5 weeks and you couldn't see anything. But by 8 weeks, you could fully see a little gummi bear! Good luck!

I had my first sono at 4.5 weeks and there was NOTHING there to see. The only thing the doc could see was my uterus getting thicker.

Awwww, try to relax. I went for my first sono at 4 weeks and didn't see anything. My doctor pointed out a little sac of cells that she noticed and said would evetually be the baby but in all honesty it looked like nothing at all.
Do your best to take care of yourself, I'm sure everything will be okay

Don't worry, when I went for my sono at 6 weeks the baby was the size of my pinkly nail, so at 4 weeks it will be VERY hard to see anything. Try to relax, I'm sure everything is fine!!

Re: 4 1/2 week sono-nothing visible
ii had gotten a sono at 4 weeks and only saw the sac. 5 weeks sac 6 weeks sac again. not until 7 weeks was there a bean and heart pumping. With my 1st. pregnancy and second I saw the bean at 6weeks. Everyone is totally different. I completely freaked for weeks until I saw my DD. Not seeing anything worried me to no end, but I kept taking my HCG test and it kept shooting up. Good luck! Keep fighting to get the HCG level testing every other day.

Don't be too upset that they didn't see anything yet, that's why most Dr's won't give you your first sono until 8 weeks because there's usually not much to see before then. Just keep postive and try to relax.
