3rd trimester ladies...
When did your dr tell you to call him?
With the last pregnancy I went to the hospital a few times for what I thought was contractions and it was because I was dehydrated.
So I don't want to waste my time this time around lol.
Anyway, Since about 430 I have been having some cramping.
For the past half hour I have been having contractions every 4 minutes or so and they last about 20-30 seconds.
Some other symptoms I have been having is increased cervical mucus, some lower back pain (on the sides) and change in bowel movements.
Anyway..I am 35 weeks and am trying not to call my dr because I know he is going to say to go to the hospital, which I can't right now because DH isn't home.
Anyway do you think these are the real thing or BH? Any insite other than call my dr because I'm just not ready yet lol??

the cramping and 4 minutes apart would make me think you should call.
my midwife says "if it looks like labor, feels, like labor, smells like labor or if your water breaks - call"
my OB says to wait until 2-3 minutes apart.
Is there anyone who could take you to the hospital?

no all of my family is out and i have my daughter home with me. my husband will be home at like 1015, so if anything i could go then.
i never really timed the contractions with my first pregnancy so i really don't remember what I am suppose to feel like. All I remembered was intense menstrual like cramps. This time these are more contraction like because my stomach is tightening.

Our lamaze nurse said take a walk, drink some water & if they last for more than an hour then call
