3rd grade Math test?

Any one's kiddies take the 3rd grade math test--DD tooks her's Tues and Weds. She is a smart kid but she is not the strongest in math--I am having terrors that she will be left back if she fails She gets A's in EVERY other subject except math-

It was a fair test. Your DD would not be left back even if she failed....that's not exactly how it works. She may be targeted for math intervention next year and that's not really the worst thing in the world if she truly struggles & could use the extra help.

Nicholas took it this week, today is the last day. He's in 4th though. They don't hold children back based on the results. The results don't even come until the end of the Summer (at least in my district). My son is not good at math and never does well on these standardized tests.

yup. my son did. He does well in math... Always got like 96 on the practice tests so I'm not worried about him...

The Language Arts test is the one that had me biting my nails...

Though, I am sure your daughter will do fine... They prepare these kids for these tests very well, IMO

Thanks ladies. I can exhale. I have been so stressed about it. We have so much going on that I dont even get on here as much but its nice to remove one thing off my plate

Don't worry at all! My son said it was a cinch! They did like 6 practice tests these past few weeks and he said it was basically the same! He was sooo worried about long division(4thgrade). He came home asking how I would measure the water in a bath tub(liter,mililiter,gram,miligram). He said that was the only question he was not sure of. Too cute I thought!
