3rd birthday party?
my son will be turning 3 in the fall and i wanted him to have his first "friends" birthday party.
i checked into 2 different kid places and both offer 90 minute parties. is this normal? i feel like that is too short. how do they fit everything into 90 minutes?
any experiences/opinions/ideas welcome!

most parites i have been too have been between 90 minutes to 2 hours long and i always thought how short of a time that was and (when i was looking into parties for my DD) how expenisve it was but honestly its a long enough time. I am at these parties and i am always like i cant believe its only been half hour, 45 minutes

It's actually plenty of time. Little kids don't have a huge attention span. They usually do an hour of playtime and then a half hour or pizza and cake.

All of the parties that DS has been to have been 90 minute parties. They do an hour of play and then 30 minutes of pizza and cake and it's time to go.

yup that is what they all are...the first one we went to i thought it was going to be too short when i got the invite...but it was the perfect amt of time. they do so much in that time and there is never any time for the kids to get bored and restless and rowdy!
