3DPT Blood test
It's been such a hectic day today. I had my first set of blood tests since my ET this morning so I needed to be there bright and early. I was hoping i wouldn't hear from them and that all was clear. Unfortunately that's not the cast. Around 11:30 i NEEDED to get out of the house and was starting to go stir crazy. They called at 11:50 so I wasn't home when they called since .
My progesterone is still too low and I have to start up on the shots again. I was freaking out since by the time i got home and called after 2 the office was already closed and DH has no idea how to give the shots. I called the emergency on call nurse and she said I could go over to her house and she would show him so we had to schlep out in the snow.
On one hand, she said it can't be too low because i'm only going to be on 1/2 ml but on the other it doesn't make me feel good :( I know it's worked out for others but i'm really devastated about this.

Hang in there... My doctor also told me my progesterone level was a little on the lower side (9.5) and it really should be above 10... so I am back on the prog shots as well. You'll be OK just stay positive!

I'll be on the shots the whole first trimester! You get used to them, it doesn't even phase me anymore..... That was really nice over her to let you go over to her house!

I knew that from my last IUI as well since i think mine was 9.5 and she actually said she thought it might be around 15 since i was only on 1/2 ml. Maybe i'll call tomorrow and find out that might help me feel better.

I know i thought that was so nice of her as well. It just was annoying to drive to the south shore because of all the accidents on the road. The funny thing is that she even drew a bullseye's in perm ink on my rear so he new where they were supposed to go LOL
I'm just having a hard time staying positive lately. I think i'm just really depressed tonight. I'm home alone in the storm since DH is at work. Too much quiet=too much time to think which just brings me down.

I completely understand where you are coming from. My doc never gave me the option to go off the shots so I have been on them since the ET, and I will continue to be on them for my whole first trimester. They didn't even bother testing my progesterone levels, and I have had a normal pregnancy before so I don't quite get it, but I am just putting myself at their mercy.
I think that the time between the ET and when you find out you are pregnant is such an emotional one. I ended up caving and testing at 4dp5dt and I was DEVASTATED when it was negative. I was uncontrollably sobbing to my husband. Even before I tested I was shaking with anxiety trying to figure out if it worked or not. Then my husband started stressing that my stress would effect the outcome..... Anyway, it all works out. You will get your BFP if not this time then sometime soon and all that you are going thru now will be worth it!!! I really hope that you get your BFP this cycle because then you will be done with the worrying (sort of) and all of these shots will be like nothing!!!

Re: 3DPT Blood test
I was just started on progesterone shots from the get-co.
1cc and my levels came back "perfect."
I have no progesterone issues (no hormone issues at all)... so don't worry. Nothing is "wrong"...maybe some people just respond better to injections.
