At week is the best to have it done? I really would love to have it done. I thought it was at 32-34 weeks but I am not sure. Anyone know?

I thought my dr said no later than 28 weeks otherwise the baby is too big and u risk not seeing much. I could be wrong though

Yeah I think you're a bi too late, all the 3d places I looked into specifically stated that your optimal time frame is generally 20-28 weeks. After that they say the pics aren't as good because the baby tends not to cooperate as well and the pictures aren't good.

I get them everytime at my dr's office. With my DD I remember the best shots being from the 16week and 20 week sonos. They did one at 32 and all you could see was a squishy face, a cute squishy face but not as much as I would have liked to see.

I just went for a regular growth sono at 32w and my LO was too big to see anything on the screen.
ETA my LO is also measuring small

Thanks Ladies...Hoping I didn't miss it...but I'm gonna ask my Dr when I go in for my 31 week check this morning. Getting down to the niddy and griddy now!!!

My sono person said best at 26 and 27 weeks because after they are too big she said.

idk if it is a twin thing bc they r smaller but they did not let me do it till i was 30 weeks, i think we did it at 32
i saw them fine
