3D/4D Sono question
How many weeks were you when you went for this sono?
I am 20 weeks and I am just wondering if it is too early to get one done.

I was told that 20 weeks is too early. I can't remember if they said 26 or 28 weeks was when you can get it.

u can go to get a gender determination however if you want good face shots, i'd wait, i was 25 weeks and got good shots... if i waited even longer they would have been better

I had mine done at 25 weeks (baby was measuring 24 weeks) and we got some good pictures. I would have waited untill futher along but we really wanted to know the sex.
I think she already looked like she did when she was born.

I was 27 weeks ...I think 20 weeks is too early....you want to wait for the baby to have some fat or else, honestly, they look kinda scary

I went at 24 weeks and the pics would have been okay except that she had her face in the placenta which made it very blurry. We went for gender determination so no biggie. Personally, if I was going to see her face I would have waited for 26 weeks or later. So that would be my suggestion.

I went at 26 weeks and it was a little too early. The tech said the best shots are between 28 and 30 weeks.
